Firstly, apologies for the heaviness of this post!
So I’m ‘coming out’ with my cancer diagnosis. I mentioned my diagnosis briefly last month but I didn’t give details. I’ve got stage 4 breast cancer which is pretty dire. Diagnosed in December 2020 I keep going into remission (yay) but it keeps coming back (boo). I’m now running out of chemo recipes but cancer research means two new options in 2025, one of which I have the right markers for.
So when I mentioned a race to write the final Wanderer book, that it is. I don’t have an expiry date, so to speak, but I’m well past my ‘best before’ date. I don’t know what the future will bring but I still have my imagination and I’ll be a Creative until the day I die.
